Dr. Vishnu Munagala was wonderful. He took Buddy that same day and identified the tapeworm sample, applied the right treatment and medication. Buddy is doing remarkably well, eating and gaining weight. I went back to our regular Dr. at Brookville Hospital and asked about the medication Dr Munagala suggested us to consider switching to and we are going to test it out. Zoey was seen the next day and did great for her visit. I highly recommend VetCheck because the staff and Doctor listened and effectively treated. Brought our dog here today on the recommendation of IndyVet, since they had a long wait. We woke up to a very large new mystery lump on her abdomen and the suddenness of it was very concerning (and of course, on a Saturday, when our regular vet was unable to see her). They were able to get her in right away, the staff was kind and helpful, and the vet explained exactly what what was going on: she had an abscess due to a puncture wound so small it was barely visible. They drained it and sent us off with antibiotics, pain meds, and home care instructions. When we decided to make the drive up to Indy from Bloomington for emergency care, we expected to spend all day and tons of money and were pleasantly surprised at the ease and outcome with this VetCheck practice. It's good to know there is a place to get great walk-in care with competent and kind people.

Dr. Vishnu Munagala, DVM
Dr. Vishnu Munagala is a dedicated veterinarian with a passion for animal health and welfare. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, India followed by an internship in veterinary surgery and medicine with paper presentations on Canine Pyometra at an International Symposium at Chennai.
With over 11 years of experience, Dr. Vishnu focuses on providing swift, compassionate care to pets in need and volunteered at local shelters and was actively involved in free spay & neuter programmes for the strays.
Dr. Vishnu is happily married to Dr. Keerthana, a fellow animal lover & also a Veterinarian with two young boys Aadhwik & Nishanth. They like family time & enjoys hiking, exploring new cuisines, and travelling to experience different cultures.
Dr. Vishnu's commitment to both his patients and their families makes him a trusted advocate for animal health in the community.
